The Sibayan Calica Association (formerly Foundation) is honoured to receive the Brigada Eskwela 2024 Award from the Department of Education – Province of La Union, in recognition of our participation and support during Brigada Eskwela 2024.
The award acknowledges the association’s continued efforts to support public schools in La Union, Philippines, particularly through the provision of books, school supplies, crocs/slippers, and other essential educational resources. These contributions aim to help improve learning conditions and support students’ everyday school needs.
Brigada Eskwela is a nationwide initiative that brings together schools, communities, and partner organisations to prepare public schools for the academic year. The association’s involvement forms part of its broader commitment to supporting education through consistent, community-based assistance.
This recognition is shared with the school administrators, teachers, volunteers, and partners who have worked closely with the association throughout the year. Their cooperation and dedication play an important role in ensuring that support reaches students who need it most.
